Carlos Casanova, Chief Asia Economist, Coface, the credit insurer based in Hong Kong tells us that the two most populous countries in the world are facing headwinds. China suffers from inflationary pressure with rising pork prices and continued trade tensions with the US. On the other hand, India is only expecting 5% GDP growth for 2020 while unemployment remains elevated.
