CPO prices have breached RM4000/tonne recently on the back of low palm oil inventories and bad weather conditions in South America impacting the supply of the key substitute oil, soybean. But is this rally sustainable and which planter stands to benefit? Alvin Tai, Soft Commodity Analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, gives us his views.
