Until very recently, the best performing market in Asean was Malaysia till Philippines stole that title with the PSEi index up by 16% on a year to date basis compared to the FBMKLCI’s return of 12%. We check in with Imran Yusof, Head of Research, MIDF as to whether there is still upside to the Malaysian equity market, what investment strategy to adopt and the top buy ideas for 2024.
