Malaysia Has The Upper Hand On Gloves

One of the few industries that Malaysia has a competitive advantage globally aside from palm oil is gloves where we are the world's largest producer. With the Covid 19 pandemic, demand for gloves has been robust and this sector has been the best performing on Bursa Malaysia on a year to date basis. And this is reflected in Bursa’s Healthcare Index which has appreciated by 234% versus the broader FBMKLCI return of negative 4%. But is there more upside? Walter Aw, Equity Research Analyst at CGS-CIMB Research tells us.
