The Indonesian Rupiah has appreciated against the USD, bucking the trend against other emerging market currencies like the Ringgit which has weakened sinceTrump's win. Indonesia's ongoing fiscal reforms, its tax amnesty programme and implementation of land acquisition laws have been market-positive and provide support for the currency.
