The Insolvency (Amendment) Bill 2020 was passed to increase the minimum bankruptcy threshold from RM50,000 to RM100,000 for debts owed. Lua Ai Siew, a lawyer at Messrs. Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah helps us understand the impact of these amendments.
