Malaysia's 2019 trade numbers have declined 2.5% to RM1.8 trillion in 2019, on the back of lower exports and imports. And now, with the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry expects Malaysia's external trade to remain modest, with a challenging global environment expected in 2020.
