Alvin Tai, Analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, remains positive on the palm oil sector for the rest of the year, despite weaker soybean prices after China stopped buying from the U.S. However, he notes that the 2026 outlook will hinge on Indonesia’s B50 biodiesel mandate and its implementation.
