Hong Kong has imposed its toughest measures since the start of the pandemic, as daily case numbers climb exponentially. Chief Executive Carrie Lam announced that she has no plans to impose a complete lockdown, but President Xi Jinping has asked for Hong Kong to mobilize all available forces and resource and take all necessary measures to stabilize and control the pandemic as soon as possible.
