Thailand finally broke its political impasse as parliament voted in Srettha Thavisin of the Pheu Thai party as the new Prime Minister. On the same day, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinwatara returned after 15 years in exile. We speak with Dr Greg Raymond from the Australia National University to dissect what these twin developments mean for the future of Thailand.
