The US State Department issues an annual report on global trafficking in persons, and this year Malaysia has been elevated from the bottom rank, Tier 3 to Tier 2 Watchlist. What does this say about government efforts to eradicate human trafficking? We get reactions and policy recommendations from Adrian Pereira of the North-South Initiative.
