Since 2023, the Ministry of Health received more than 300 complaints over complications from aesthetic procedures done at illegal beauty premises. Despite existing legislation, why are these cases becoming more prevalent? We discuss the state of enforcement and public awareness about cosmetic procedures with Datuk Dr Thirunavukarasu Rajoo, President-Elect, at the Malaysian Medical Association.
