Bitcoin 101 - Is It The New Gold?

As the United States prints more US Dollars to fund its COVID-19 related economic recovery, Bitcoin has gained more prominence, alongside gold, as a hedge against the potential devaluation that the world’s reserve currency could face.

Bitcoin is up around 70% over the last 3 months, now trading around RM40, 000 per Bitcoin.

On this episode, Roshan explores the basics of Bitcoin, where it gets its value from, and whether it's the new gold.

Luno is a platform to buy, sell and store digital assets like bitcoin and is 1 of the 3 approved digital asset exchanges by the Securities Commission.
