Xi-Trump Meet: Why We Should be Concerned

Today we discuss the ongoing talks between China’s President Xi Jinping and American President Donald Trump being held in Florida, USA.

It is a much anticipated meeting between the leaders of the world’s largest economies, and strongest military powers in the Pacific region though foreign policy analysts don’t expect the 24 hour trip by Xi will result in tangible policy outcomes.

Nevertheless observers are looking to see signs of new frameworks as well as the tone of the meeting to understand future scenarios.

This report is by Sharaad Kuttan.
