Sunway Shopping Malls (SSM) manages and develops shopping malls under Sunway Berhad, and once its pipeline of new malls and mall extensions has been completed, they will become the biggest mall operator in Malaysia.

However, in this market of weak consumer sentiment soft retail sales, and still competition, is this the best time for Sunway to be building more shopping malls? Kevin Tan, the Chief Operating Officer of SSM shares what he thinks makes a great shopping mall.
