The author of the best-selling book titled “When China Rules the World: the End of the Western World and the Birth of a New Global Order,” joins us to catch up on developments since 2012 when his books was published. The book has been translated into fifteen languages and has sold several hundred thousand copies.  The book has been shortlisted for two major literary awards and his TED talk on how to understand China has had over 2 million views. On the back of the trip of Prime Minister Najib Razak to Beijing and the RM144 billion worth of deals signed, we ask if we should exercise caution even as China’s extends its hand in trade and investments.
