A recent study has revealed that the UK is currently the number one destination for Malaysians buying property abroad and this has been increasing by 68% year-on-year to £1 billion\. It is also one of the top 10 countries for Malaysian investment out of more than 150 countries. Simon Capp, the Head of Residential Sales at British Land, one of the leading property development companies in the UK, as well as Chong Shu Ling from the real estate consultancy firm JLL (Malaysia), help us understand why.
