The Housing Crisis In A Malaysian Context

Traditionally, owning a home is seen as a goal for most Malaysians. But as times change, sentiments have shifted. Prices of homes are increasing while wages remain stagnant, so owning a home for the average household in Malaysia is becoming less and less achievable. Dr Carmelo Ferlito of the Center for Market Education and IDEAS discusses the pain points of the Malaysian housing crisis, what affordable housing means for us and his thoughts on how the government can approach this.
