Budget 2025 has kept the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit's (Mitra) funding at RM100 million, a figure that has not changed in nine years. This stagnation has led to calls for an increase to RM300 million to better uplift the socio-economic status of the Indian community. V. Ganabatirau, MP for Klang shares his perspective on this issue.
