Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim Anwar has approved and provided Felda with a 9.9 billion ringgit government guarantee to restructure its debts through a sukuk issuance. This will allow 80% of Felda settler debts to be waived. But what is the root cause of the debt issue? We speak with P. Gunasegaram, Independent Business Writer, to get some answers
