The World Bank has raised its forecast for Malaysia's economic growth for 2024 to 4.9%, up 0.6 percentage points from its previous forecast of 4.3% in April 2024, due to the stronger-than-anticipated performance in the first half of the year that reflected robust growth in consumption, investment, and trade activity.
