A survey conducted by research house Merdeka Center found that the approval rating for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim increased by four percentage points from last year to 54%. Meanwhile, the approval rating for the Madani government stood at 51%, up from last year's 46%. The study assessed the performance of the Madani administration across eight parameters, including addressing the cost of living, combating corruption, and improving ethnic relations. We’ll be speaking with Ibrahim Suffian, Co-Founder and Programme Director of Merdeka Center, about the findings of the survey and where the unity government can improve.
