Phase 2 of the National Energy Transition Roadmap, or NETR was unveiled several days ago, and the government has set aside 2 billion ringgit as the seed fund to finance marginally bankable energy transition projects or those yielding below-market returns. Independent energy analyst, Dhana Raj Markandu speaks to us about the feasibility of this roadmap and what milestones should be set.
