Pakatan Harapan candidate Pang Sock Tao has won the four-cornered contest for the Kuala Kubu Bharu state seat, with a 3,869-vote majority over the Perikatan Nasional candidate. Ibrahim Suffian, Programme Director at Merdeka Centre reflects on the outcome of the vote, looking at the outcome of the mixed race constituency as an indication how this might translate to a national stage.
