According to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusoh, the federal government plans to open up bids from the private sector for alternative financing to help reduce the cost borne by the government in addressing the issue of high non-revenue water in Malaysia. We speak to Charles Santiago, Chairman of the National Water Services Commission for insights on how the public-private initiative can be carried out.
