Another Public-Private Partnership Masterplan In The Works

The Finance Ministry is preparing a new Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Masterplan as part of Budget 2025 which is set to be tabled on October 18. This master plan aims to boost private sector investment in crucial public infrastructure and improve the management of risks and returns between public and private entities. Dr Carmelo Ferlito, CEO of the Centre for Market Education, talks about how this new effort, following similar ones in 1991 and 2021, might be different this time around.
