The South China Sea conflict has become a central discussion at the 27th ASEAN-China Summit following recent clashes between Philippine and Chinese vessels in disputed waters. Leaders are calling for quicker negotiations on an ASEAN Code of Conduct on the South China Sea to reign in tensions.
