Calls for impeachment are echoing across South Korea after President Yoon Suk Yeol’s failed attempt to declare martial law on Tuesday sparked political turmoil. In response, the Bank of Korea rushed to restore investor confidence amid the ‘Korean Discount’ and a fluctuating Won, quickly implementing emergency measures to stabilize the market.
