US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken finally concluded a long-postponed visit to Beijing yesterday, 4 months after the initial plan was blown off course by a suspected Chinese spy balloon. Does this visit herald a broad reset in US-China ties? We speak with Richard McGregor, Senior Fellow of the Lowy Institute about the outcome of Blinken’s visit and whether this could be the catalyst needed to start open communications again between the two superpowers
