Mindblowing Tales From Our Parents

This week’s A Bit of Culture episode is a bit more introspective, as both our guests, Zan Azlee and Sabrina Yusof share their personal thoughts on how they’re dealing with the world. Returning guest, Sabrina starts the show by observing how people are using memes to cope with traumatic real-life events, and whether that’s appropriate. Kam then continues the conversation by reflecting on mindblowing things parents say about how they grew up, after witnessing a fascinating conversation between a child and a parent recently. In the second part of the show, Zan shares his struggles dealing with the loss of his childhood heroes.
