Epicurus’ Zoom Poetry

This week Kam Raslan is joined by esteemed writers – Pauline Fan of PUSAKA and Minh Bui Jones of The Mekong Review. This quarantine has shown possibilities in connecting digitally and Zoom is opening up a whole new avenue of conferencing. Kam asks if this is the future and if it is, is it enough? Then, Pauline shares her appreciation of the lockdown. She finds herself escaping into solitude while translating Paul Celan’s intense German poetry to Malay. Lastly, Minh introduces the lifestyle of epicureanism to the rest. The trio discusses the modest lifestyle especially in time of crisis.
