Bar None: S2E18 - Jiving It To The Top

Is dance an art, or a sport? Or can it be a hybrid of both, as the term 'dancesport' would suggest? To help us see dance in a new light and dispel some misconceptions surrounding it, Chua Zjen Fong joins us this week to share his insights and experience in Latin dancing as well as dancesport in general. From giving up his full-time job to pursue the passion of his life, to competing around the world earning accolades for the nation, Chua and his wife and dance partner Evon Chong have come a long way in becoming the current undefeated 8th-time National Latin Champion. He also shares his take on the potential of dancesport being included in the Olympic Games, and his thoughts on the contemporary inclusion of hip-hop and breakdancing into the dancesport family.
