Bar None: S2E05 - Joga Bonito

There's no question about the popularity of football internationally, especially here in Malaysia, and with the skill bracket being so high, breaking into the professional scene is a enormous achievement. However, that doesn't mean football enthusiasts can't put their skills to the test. The art of expression in freestyle football has been around since the 1900s and although it's popularity only picked up during the digital age, freestyle footballers have been a force to be reckoned with. Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Neymar are just some of the advocates of the art and have perfected their game through elements and the practice of freestyle football. We speak to the co-founders of D Skills football academy, as they tell us about the art and how football's reach has extended beyond the traditional forms of the beautiful game.
