A year ago, Malaysian motorsport suffered a great loss, as Formula One. unfortunately held their last race at Sepang International Circuit. Prospects have still remained bright however, as the government announced plans to turn SIC into a regional motorsports hub and a tourist destination. While MotoGP is on its way to take over as Malaysia's flagship motorsports event, but is all of this enough to compensate for Formula One's departure? Dato Razlan Razali, Acting CEO of Motorsports Association Malaysia, and Chief Executive Officer of Sepang International Circuit, answers this.
