S2E57: Human Chess

Holding an impressive brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and now coaching in Leverage Gym, a BJJ-centred training academy which he started, Aaron Goh is a force to be reckoned with. Giving up his job to pursue his hobby professionally, Aaron has been an avid BJJ practitioner for a solid 12 years, even managing to snag first place in last year’s Copa Da Malasia, the annual competition for local BJJ athletes. Fascinated with the leverage and principles of the actions of this martial arts, Aaron ensures his students learn the importance of mutual respect and physical connection on, and off the board. Seen as the most applicable martial arts in real life, we talk with Aaron Goh on the art of quick-thinking, ground fighting and human chess.
