S2E68: A 5000 Year Old Tussle For Kabaddi

Kabaddi, a sport of romantic origins tracing back to the Epic of Mahabharata, has racked a massive following in the Indian subcontinent and strives to become an olympic sport. Players one by one test their metal in a heated game of tag against seven players, taunting them with their screams of “Kabaddi” (who is stronger?). Join us with S.T. Arasu, the Deputy President of the Malaysian Kabaddi Federation, as he sheds light on the upcoming World Cup Kabaddi in Melaka starting July 20th and the preparation of Malaysia’s Kabaddi team. Kabaddi is a very basic game, with the likes of “Police & Thieves” and sibling quarrels, but don’t let that fool you; its perpetuity and name is only a testament to its gritty nature of competition. Kabaddi!
