He is the top national fencer and number 167 in the world, most famously winning gold at the Palembang SEA Games in 2011 — a victory that effectively ended Malaysia’s 22 year barren run in the sport. He talks about his career so far, the niche but growing fencing community in Malaysia, his quest to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and more.
