84 Months Warranty Arrives in Malaysia

Cruise Control is back with the week's roundup of automotive news, a discussion about factory warranty periods as well as a review of Kia's beautiful new EV, the Niro.

It's a quiet week as far as new car launches go in Malaysia, but there's plenty to be excited about in the two-wheels arena when Ducati and Royal Enfield made announcements of their latest models respectively. The mighty Italian outfit launched their new and powerful touring motorbike, the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour, specially dedicated for long distance riding. British vintage brand Royal Enfield also made a splash at the recent Desaru Bike Week, unveiling a classy cruiser dubbed as the Super Meteor 650 with prices just below RM 40,0000.

We also discuss factory warranty tenures in light of a few attractive deals by two manufacturers. Daniel takes us through the history of warranty periods from the most basic to the most comprehensive 7-year coverage on the cards recently. The guys round off the show with a drive review of yet another Korean EV, setting Kia's Niro EV under the microscope.
