RM25k For A 10 Year Old Volkswagen Passat?

RM25k For A 10 Year Old Volkswagen Passat?

In this week's show, we talk about an upcoming Netflix documentary on Michael Schumacher, the RM3.5 million Aston Martin Valhalla hybrid hypercar, the Heritage Design Edition Porsche 911 Targa 4S, and the launch of the ever-luxurious Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift.

In Part 2, we discuss the future of the Electric Vehicle as a report by the Transport & Environment suggests that EVs have become cheaper to run than a diesel in Europe. In the same discussion, Daniel suggests a genuinely great way to introduce and democratize electric vehicles in Malaysia: delivery vans and ride-hailing.

Finally, in Part 3, we take a look at the 2011 Volkswagen Passat (B7) and why it's worth just 15% of its retail price, despite being just 10 years old. Plagued with a host of endemic Volkswagen Group problems early on, plenty of Passat owners have already had to toil through the car's multiple sensor failures, oil leaks and broken gearboxes in their ownership. And for Daniel Fernandez, the fact that it's already been broken and mended, is exactly the reason why you should think about getting one.
