The 2020 BMW X5 Is An Excellent "Sports Activity Vehicle"

This week, we round up the many news stories this week as the automotive world looks back on their performance in 2020, and charts out their plans for 2021. We go through a few car launches too, with Lexus launching two new variants of their RX and ES models, Kia revealing the prices of their Seltos, and Nio - a Shanghai-based Tesla-competitor - unveils their sleek 4-door saloon called the ET7.

As for our car review, Daniel tells us about the all-new 2020 BMW X5 xDrive45e - BMW's ultimate Sports Activity Vehicle. Sporting a new turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six, an entirely new electric drivetrain, and a refreshed chassis, Daniel finds himself impressed by its driving characteristics, luxurious interior and family-hauling capabilities. For a BMW "SAV", par for the course, then?

At RM440k for a full-sized, tech-packed, luxurious "SAV", it's certainly a competitive price, but will it sway buyers of the trustworthy Volvo XC90 T8?
