An Avantgarde French SUV

An Avantgarde French SUV

In the news this week, we discuss Hyundai's new R&D centre in Singapore, and our wishlist of cars that Kia and Peugeot's future dealers can introduce to re-establish themselves in the Malaysian market. We also talk about the new Honda City and BMW 2-series Gran Coupe.

For our car review, we talk about the DS 7 Crossback - a premium and avantgarde French SUV that stands out in the sea of Mercedes-Benz GLCs and Lexus RXs. It's priced extremely competitively too - undercutting the premium German rivals by around RM40,000. With a beautiful exterior design, and a well-built and fantastically designed interior, it's certainly a looker, but guest Daniel Fernandez raises a few questions about its comparatively small and underpowered engine.

*Note: Apologies for the poor recording quality.
