The 2006 Volkswagen CrossPolo Was Far Ahead of its Time

The 2006 Volkswagen CrossPolo Was Far Ahead of its Time

In this week's show, Daniel talks about the new James Bond movie and its unlikely hero car, while Ariff discusses COP26, all-electric pledges and the carbon cost of manufacturing an electric vehicle.

In Part 2, the duo discusses the Subaru Solterra, their first-ever electric vehicle, an all-new Toyota Avanza, the facelifted Perodua Myvi, a Honda 'ZR-V' concept, the rugged Mazda CX-50, and the apparent 'blasphemy' that is the 2023 Acura Integra.

Finally, in Part 3, Daniel sheds light on a small hatchback/crossover from Volkswagen that really was far ahead of its time. The original VW CrossPolo had cutesy looks, a raised ride height and extra bumper cladding way back in 2006. Today, that spells a pretty generic formula for a small crossover. But with Volkswagen's excellent build quality and its reliable (pre-TSI and DSG) powertrain, is it a 'steal' for roughly RM20,000?
