How Is The Car Industry Doing?

This week, the three catch up on the news from the automotive industry. With carmakers having already felt the pinch prior to the pandemic, how has these 5 months of lockdown treated them?

Well, not great, really. Mazda, FIAT and Aston Martin are in deep trouble, while car-rental giant Hertz's bankruptcy fears could cause the used car market to crash. Locally, it's hardly a different picture, as Richard, Daniel and Ariff discuss the challenges in restarting the car industry and how frugal consumers will change how they buy cars.
