Ecoboost Or Not, The Ford Mustang Has Always Been An Icon

This week, we give updates on the global auto production backlog as Germany's Minister of Economy approached semiconductor manufacturing giants Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) on behalf of German automakers. We also talk about Renault Alpine and Lotus' EV plans, Caterham's arrival in Malaysia, and the brand-new Mercedes-Benz EQA - their latest all-electric offering.

For our car review, we're looking at the 2015 Ford Mustang. Prices for these aren't exactly affordable yet as you're likely to pay over RM200k for one of these, but if you've got money to spend or a few hours to daydream, the Ford Mustang is a car worth dreaming of.  With a 55-year history as America's ultimate pony car, hundreds of iconic appearances in film, TV and music, and a thunderous "V8 Motor" to boot, it's a car that everyone has dreamed of driving at one point in their lives. Can't bear the thought of paying the (supposedly) five figure road tax for your big ol' five-o V8 motor? Well, the 2015 Mustang did also come with a 2.3 Ecoboost engine, meaning that there's still a more affordable way to be a part of the Ford Mustang canon.
