Mazda's Turbo Powered SUV

In this edition of Cruise Control, our trio of petrolheads discuss the latest launches in the local market, topped with a drive review of a turbo-diesel powered seven seater.

After days of camping out in front of the Kia manufacturing plant in Kulim, Kedah; we can now confirm that the CKD version of the new Kia Sorento will hit our markets soon with prices to be confirmed at the launch. Staying up north in Juru, Penang; Audi Malaysia have also posted information on the impending arrival of Audi's sleek all-electric E-Tron GT, while their more prestigious distant relative Porsche are also taking bookings for its race-ready Cayman 718 GT4 RS.

We end with Daniel's impression of the Mazda CX-8 Skyactiv-G Turbo, which is the same SUV from 2019 that's been recently improved and now fitted with a 2.5 litre turbo engine; perfect for the family.
