Used Toyota Land Cruiser Prado - Old, But Gold

Cruise Control returns to reality and reviews a more accessible option for the masses, in the form of the iconic Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. This dependable 4x4 SUV is now available in the market at a very competitive price, despite being more than 20 years old. Daniel found some options, including one that’s very well-maintained, and still in mint condition, albeit selling at a slightly higher price. He shares why it’s still worth a look, and what you should be looking out for when buying a used 4x4 SUV.

Before we get to that conversation, we talk about the safety standards of heavy vehicles again, in light of the recent bus accident that saw 15 university students lose their lives. What can be done to prevent this from happening? Daniel shares his thoughts.

We also recap some of the biggest news in the automotive world, including Honda Malaysia recalling various models of their cars due to fuel pump problems, Proton e.MAS 7 becoming the fastest selling EV in Malaysia, Haval H6 HEV setting a new fuel endurance record, as well as Hyundai releasing the IONIQ 9 in the US.
