CtrlD - No Shortcut to Success

CtrlD Studio, an indie game development studio based in Sarawak, started their voyage in the gaming industry in an unconventional way. Their final year project at university, Ano: Journeys Through Tattoos, blew up and was celebrated in the indie gaming circuit. However, upon graduation, they initially strayed away from the industry, before realising that making video games is indeed their true calling. So, they've returned and are now in the midst of creating a new tower defense shooter called Overhours. We speak to its co-founder and studio head, Suan Goh, to hear what it’s like developing video games away from the capital city, as well as the vibrancy of the game developers community in Sarawak.
