“Esports Saved My Life”

Andrew Cheong (Sir_Cloud)

15-Jul-24 21:00

“Esports Saved My Life”

Sir_Cloud is a name that’s becoming more synonymous with the local and regional esports scene, but prior to making a name for himself in the industry that he’s highly passionate about, Andrew Cheong lived a life in the corporate world, gaming occasionally on the side. When the pandemic hit, he lost his job, and went to a very dark place. But the gaming world, and esports specifically, provided a refuge for him that soon became a home he’s truly comfortable in. Fresh from releasing a book that chronicled the story of his life (so far) called “Esports Selamatkan Hidup Aku”, he joins us on the show to share what life has been like now in this new world, and his observations of the esports industry.
