EA Sports x FIFA - It’s Not In The Game

It’s official - EA Sports will no longer be renewing their licensing rights with football’s governing body, FIFA, after 30 years of very successful and fruitful relationship. This means that, moving forward, EA Sports will not use the “FIFA” brand for their football games. Instead, EA will call their future football games “EA Sports FC”. What does this split mean for both parties, and can both parties survive without each other? We explore the story.
