City Farming for City Folk

In an age of worry regarding the complications of farming in an increasingly urbanized country, finding an agricultural system that can be naturally sustainable and ecologically friendly is imperative. Located in the busy city centre of TTDI, the permaculture movement Urban Hijau provides a natural environment where nature can thrive among the hustle and bustle of the urban world. Headed by farm operations manager, Muneeb bin Yousof, Urban Hijau aims to educate people on self-sustainable farming along with fresher and healthier growing and living. Muneeb joins us on the show this week to spread the merits of permaculture farming.
